Walking the Tracks
10.12.2010
Today I was walking the tracks again working on a new zine project with Yas, our artist in residence from Kyoto, Japan. Always a source for good stories well traveled, I met a new friend on the tracks today. The homeless wanderer's name is John, he had warm eyes and a firm handshake. He was holding a folded piece of dirty cardboard and gave it to me. He thought our project was cool and insisted he didn't want anything in exchange. John just made a new sign for his travels and was going to discard of this one anyway.
He left saying, 'I hope you get a good mark'.
Ironically, we sat by the train tracks waiting for our cutlery to be flattened.
